My client, a leading earphone/headphone company in China, is looking for a Senior Product Manager (earphone and headphone) to be based in Shenzhen, China, to oversee the direction of the portfolio of products, lead and direct the development team, align business and engineering objectives, lead the introduction of new products into manufacturing and market.
The role should be filled by an experienced business leader from an audio / acoustic / headphone/ earphone engineering background. This person should be fluent in Chinese Mandarin and English and demonstrate clear leadership ability in being able to bring together a team of diverse experience and background. They should have exceptional organisational and communication skills.
This person should come from an engineering background - preferably having played a leadership role in the development of earphones or headphones previously. They should have a good understanding of the technical processes involved in engineering and production.
They should have sufficient business understanding to work closely with business leaders, be able to plan new and future products from a business perspective and understand the product segment sufficiently to know what drives customers to make purchase decisions.
