This is an opportunity to join a successful start up company working on developing leading edge technology for the cellular handset market.
Due to expansion, our client seeks a talented Analog IC Design Engineer for their site in Cambridge developing High Accuracy Tracking technology and offers the chance to join an experienced team developing novel systems and circuits allow this exciting technology to be transferred from infrastructure to mobile devices.
Industry degree qualified (or equivalent) the successful candidate will have experience in high performance Analog & Mixed Signal IC design in CMOS technologies and using Cadence tools with experience in seeing designs through to completion, design for test, ultra high speed amplifier/line driver design (>100MHz) and voltages in the range 5-10V.
Experience is also required in some or all of the following: power management design, SMPS (Switched mode power supply) design, Linear power regulation design, ESD and Latch-up prevention techniques, Design for test and creating a test specification for devices. Experience of taking specifications and turning them into transistor designs at a sub cells level and building the design through to top level schematics is required.
A good team player, you will have excellent communication skills and be able to work on your own initiative.
