The successful Digital / Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer's main responsibilities will be to develop mixed signal sub-system solutions. The ideal candidate should have good system understanding, experience with ADC and DACs as well as the ability to specify and/or design basic digital control and DSP functions. The candidate will work in a team of mixed skills and will be exposed to all levels of the product development, from architectural decisions and helping to define product requirements through to design and evaluation.
The successful Digital/ Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer's responsibilities will include:
Detailed transistor level design of analog and RTL level design of digital circuits for mixed signal applications.
Working closely in small teams and also reporting on design results through design reviews, following up on action items generated.
Developing innovative new designs with potential for patenting.
Helping to find and fix complex integrated circuit problems through laboratory measurements.
Supporting efficient test program development and product engineering to successfully bring new products from initial concept through release to production.
Supporting applications engineering during evaluation and also to meet customer needs.
