A Principal Digital IC Design Engineer is sought for our client's newly-opened Design Centre in Munich.
With world-wide operations, our client has a superb reputation for delivering high-quality sensor and IC solutions to the automotive market. On the back of successful growth they have recently established a new design facility in Munich, focussing on Automotive mixed mode SoCs (32 bit micro, flash memory, Analog and Power structures). They have a requirement for a highly experienced Digital IC Design to join them, to cover full-custom and semi-custom digital ASIC design. The position sits within a small, closely knit group of deeply experienced digital, analog and layout engineers, hence this group offers a huge span of expertise and makes for an intriguing opportunity for prospective candidates.
The successful candidate will have a very established background in Digital IC Design, with strong skills in semi-custom backend design; from synthesized netlist, floor planning to Place & Route GDSII. Strong hands-on skills in Cadence, Synopsys and/or Mentor tools are of course essential.
