Superb opportunity in Cambridge for high calibre Embedded Software Engineer to design and develop system software, drivers and embedded firmware for our client's next generation products.

Suitable applicants must have an excellent degree, be highly proficient in C with a strong knowledge of the Linux, have knowledge of implementing software to control hardware, device drivers and networking.

It would also be beneficial to have some knowledge of server system architectures, ethernet, 10 gigabit, TCP/IP, embedded systems, PCI-Express, Virtualization (Xen,Vmware,KVM), MS Windows programming or linux internals.

Knowledge and experience of digital design (EDA tools, Verilog, VHDL) a plus.
