Senior FPGA Hardware Engineer - FPGA, Verilog, RTL - Cambridge

A leading name within the semiconductor sector is seeking a experience FPGA Engineer with a proven background in FPGA design to join their team and help contribute to the development of their world leading products. Working within an established team you will have the opportunity to work with hardware and software engineers across the business.

This role is ideal for a strong hardware candidate with experience and enthusiasm for designing, debugging and verifying FPGA designs on real hardware using the latest tool flows.

The successful candidate should have a track record of successfully implementing, debugging and bringing up complex systems. Experience of some or all of the following is needed:

- Verilog RTL coding and simulation and debug flows
- FPGA implementation flows including experience of partitioning, synthesis and P&R of complex designs such as CPU or GPU cores.
- Debugging tools and workflows for FPGA based systems and application of such flows to debug real problems in-circuit for FPGA implementations
- Software source level debug flows
