Power Applications Engineer (High Voltage Power Conversion) required by Midlands/North based Semiconductor company, with skills including: DC-DC, SMPS, AC-DC, High Voltage Power Conversion, Application Engineering, Product Definition and presenting innovative technology solutions.

A huge player in the Semiconductor industry now seeks a well-rounded Power Applications Engineer with good knowledge of Power Electronics and High Voltage Power Conversion. The ideal candidate will be design and customer focused and be responsible for leading discussions with customers to develop customer requirements for power applications, defining key products, application testing of prototype platforms, undertaking device simulation and liaise with product development engineers to advise and support external customers.

The ideal candidate will have experience and / or be well versed in some of the following:

- A good Power Electronics / Electrical & Electronics related Degree
- High Voltage SMPS / Power Conversion
- DC/DC - AC/DC
- Proven Background in Power Electronics / Semiconductor industry (4+ years)
