Power Applications Engineer (Power Conversion) required by industry recognised Semiconductor company based out of Wales, with skills including: MOSFET, Power ICs, AC-DC, DC-DC, SMPS (Switch Mode Power Supply), Power Conversion, Analog Systems, Application Engineering, Product Definition and more.

A highly regarded Semiconductor company now seeks a well-rounded Power Applications Engineer with good knowledge of Power Electronics and Power Conversion. The ideal candidate will be design as well as customer orientated and be responsible for leading discussions with customers to develop customer requirements for power applications, defining key products, gaining extensive product knowledge to become technically sound and prepare / deliver presentations to customers from time to time. Occasional travel will be involved in visiting customers on-site (around 3 - 4 days per month) offering an excellent platform to develop both product knowledge and client portfolio skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience and / or be well versed in some of the following:

- A good Power Electronics / Electrical & Electronics related Degree
- MOSFET / Power Conversion / Power ICs
- Proven Background in Power Electronics / Semiconductor industry
