My client, a major technology innovator and global leader in semiconductors for wired and wireless communications, is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Digital ASIC Verification Engineer to join them in Cambridgeshire. This fabless communications semiconductor company has experienced unprecedented success over the last year and is looking to expand it's teams and sites, making this a really exciting time to get involved in a truly growing company.
This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting SoC's for the Mobile and Wireless Group that couple their market leading mobile video, imaging and 3D technologies with high performance computer and wireless communications. You will be working within a team that contributes to the entire silicon design process, working with major customers to bring their products to market. The ideal candidate will have proven ASIC Verification experience that demonstrates their technical expertise in successful completion of multiple VLSI implementation projects, including at least one tape-out. You will also need to be;
*Highly experienced in VHDL/Verilog as well as SystemVerilog / Specman / 'e' language
*Knowledgeable in Assertions, Code Coverage, Constrained random testing and OVM/UVM methodologies, ideally in the field of Video Encoders/Decoders, 3D Graphics
*Highly organised, with an innovative approach to problem solving as well as great communication and interpersonal skills
*Well qualified, with a relevant degree with a 1st or 2:1 from a reputable University.
