This position will involve the design and development of aircraft and ground system models within a simulation environment, development testing in an integrated environment, production of and updates to technical documentation and full ownership of technical tasks including estimating and reporting progress.

A strong academic background is required, ideally degree level, preferably in Engineering, Maths or Science subject or equivalent
Experience in the modelling and simulation of physical or electronic systems and subsystems.
Key skills for this role:
Experience of Object Orientated Software Design using UML.
Experience of C++ development preferably in a Windows environment.
Knowledge and experience of Configuration Control in a software environment.
Good problem solving and analytical skills.
Additional desirable skills would include:
Experience in C# development
Experience in modelling aircraft and ground systems
Experience in writing and executing acceptance test scripts
Experience in using Visual Studio, MagicDraw, and CVS
Knowledge of WATCHKEEPER UAV or other UAV systems
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Good team worker
