Purpose of the Role
To control data transmittal and archiving internally and externally in line with the company Integrated Management System.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Operations
*Understand the instrumentation system, software and hardware
*Develop and maintain the operation of data transfer systems from construction rig to office
*Capability to trouble shoot/diagnose data management and transfer issues
*Ensure a robust data control back office system is implemented and managed
Customer
*Maintain contact with Instrumentation suppliers and provide link between site teams and customers
People
*Work closely with operations teams to ensure instrumentation/data control systems are in place and being implemented
Finance
*To monitor costs associated with instrumentation and ensure spend is in line with budget
*To assist contract delivery to maximise performance on site
*To develop instrumentation and data management implementation to improve business efficiency
Experience/Skills and Qualifications
Minimum
*IT background including computer programming/data transfer
*Qualifications degree in computer programming/IT/electronics/mechanical engineering
*A levels to include Maths & Physics/Electronics
*GCSES to include English grade C or above
*Full UK driving licence
Desirable
*Engineering capability
*Knowledge of German language
