Based in Cambridge our client is currently seeking a Contract Analogue Design Engineer with extensive smps design exposure for an initial 3 month contract. The role is expected to extend and offers the successful candidate full responsibility for the design and implementation of electronic test fixtures to enable manual and automated testing for an ongoing silicon project.

The following attributes are considered necessary for this role:
Degree qualified or equivalent in Electronics or Communications Engineering
Minimum of two years electronic design experience
Experience in high speed analogue, low noise linear and switch mode power supply design
Experienced in controlling multi-layer PCB layouts to meet design requirements
Experienced in debugging PCB designs on the bench
Experience of automated testing - desirable
Experienced using standard test equipment
Programming experience - desirable
