This embedded software opportunity is one of many, working in a leading electronics and software design house in the heart of Derbyshire. This organisation manages projects in the industrial, consumer and mainly the automotive sector. They are currently working with a number of OEM and Tier 1 suppliers plus working with a championship winning Formula 1 team.

The Role…

The successful Embedded Software Engineers will be responsible for full lifecycle development of software programmes in accordance with customer specification. You'll be joining a large multi-disciplined team consisting of electronics, mechanical, test and validation engineers.

You'll be responsible for producing design specifications and descriptions plus test procedure for all your projects. As an embedded software engineer within this organisation, you'll be required to interact with other engineers and co-ordinate customers' requirements.

Technical Skills:

*Embedded C/C++ Software Design & Development
*Real Time Operating Systems
*Microprocessors (8-32 bit)
*Safety Critical Systems - Misra 'C'

The role of Embedded Software Engineer offers a great deal of diversity working for a fast growing business in the automotive and electronics sector. All employees must have or be able to obtain a full UK driving license. This is required for vehicle testing and visiting customer sites.
