Working as part of an established team, you will be tasked with providing technical and logistical management of IP and libraries for the internal design teams. As well as being in contact with external suppliers, you will gain and understanding of the internal requirements ensuring that development programmes have the necessary IP and libraries available to complete projects within the allocated time scales.
Responsibilities include; providing technical support and oversee digital IP procurement and licensing, defining IP and monitoring the delivery of IP issues and contribute to improving implementation flows.
Industry degree qualified (or equivalent) the CAD/Library Manager will have experience from a similar role and will have a deep understanding of design methods and technical solutions, be familiar with semiconductor process technologies and have the capability of being recognised as technical authority within an organisation.
The successful individual will have the ability to innovate technical solutions. make technical design decisions and have a deep understanding of digital implementation techniques. Familiarity with Verilog, PERL, TCL, shell scripts and EDA implementation and verification tools is ideal.
Excellent communication skills are required along with strong team playing skills and the ability to provide guidance, technical direction and support to others.
