A motivated Digital Physical Design Engineer is sought to join our client, one of the world's fastest growing electronics companies delivering leading edge SoC designs for the booming consumer electronics market.
This is a great position that would suit a recently graduated Engineer interested in becoming a Physical Implementation expert on advanced SoCs. You will work as part of a digital design team with a wide range of experience levels, receive excellent on-the-job training, and be responsible for:
*Place and route of digital designs
*Floorplanning
*Design rule checking (DRC)
*IR drop analysis
*Timing analysis
Requirements:
*A good degree (1st / 2:1 or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering / Computer Science
*A good working knowledge of Digital Integrated Circuit Design
*Some existing knowledge of digital physical SoC design, with ideally with familiarity of Place & Route, Static Timing Analysis and Timing Closure
*Knowledge of low power design techniques
